At NKA Academy
we can conquer the heights together.
Nestled in a quiet street in South Wentworthville, our family owned care centre has a warm, family feel with abundant places to explore, play and learn. NKA Academy is where children feel at home to create big ideas that happen in both play and learning.
At NKA Academy we offer exceptional education and care for children, from six weeks of age through to school age. We believe the early years are the foundation for your child and that by providing meaningful experiences, we can cultivate a love for lifelong learning.
Our owner/director Aline, has an extensive background in Early Childhood Education with over 15 years experience. She has sent her own children to childcare and consequently has a passion for quality child care and early education. Aline completely understands what it means to be able to send your child to a centre each morning and walk away with the peace of mind that your child is being cared for in a loving and nurturing environment. She believes the best quality childcare is one that simultaneously provides children with loving care and tenderness and also stimulates them to push their boundaries and explore the world around them.

Your insights will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our centre and community. As such, we host annual Parent Information Nights to assist and guide you through any changes we intend to implement as improvement strategies across all aspects of the service.

Under the Child Safe Scheme, organisations in NSW must put into action the Child Safe Standards recommended by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
Our organisation now must demonstrate how we are implementing the Child Safe Standards. These Standards are a key
recommendation from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
Child Safe Environment
We are advocates for children and have a strong commitment to child safety and establishing and maintaining a child safe environment. Our Service embeds the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and promotes a culture of safety and wellbeing to minimise the risk of child abuse or harm to children whilst promoting children’s sense of security and belonging.
AT NKA Academy we are committed to follow the Early Years Learning Framework.
All children engage in learning that promotes confident and creative individuals and successful lifelong learners. All children are active and informed members of their communities with knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
The Framework conveys the highest expectations for all children’s learning, development and wellbeing from birth to 5 years and through the transitions to school. It communicates these expectations through the following 5 Learning Outcomes:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators.
